El Rancho High School mourning the sudden death of baseball coach Larry Patino
El Rancho High graduate was a beloved figure as a baseball coach and mentor in the community and three-time area coach of the year
One of the area’s most beloved high school baseball coaches, El Rancho’s Larry Patino, died suddenly on Thursday, El Rancho athletic director and football coach Adrian Medrano confirmed. Patino was 49.
Details about Patino’s death were not released, but his passing was a shock to those who knew the colorful coach who loved to mentor athletes and kids of all backgrounds.
Patino leaves behind his wife Maril and six children — sons Adrian and Angelo, and daughters Gilana, Leilani, Mina and Larina.

Today we show homage and remember a person i was fortunate to meet. He was a very cool, nice person and always supportive of what we were doing in paying homage to Eazy-E and Ruthless. He was one of Eazy-E’s Former Ruthless Records bodyguards. You can see him in some of the old Eazy-E music videos like Eazy er said than Dunn
